Here's an interview I did with a zine out of Toronto that gives a some more perspective on the film:

Re: ChristCORE - VFF Screening Feb 4
Here's the HD trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNOURzWJDc8
The movie definitely does NOT have a Christian perspective, I wouldn't have posted about it here if it was a Christian movie.

Re: DFA show help!
Not sure what the venue was, I just got an urgent text from the guys last night saying it fell through. I'm hoping whoever was doing the show may see this and offer more info.

DFA show help!
Hey all, the handsome dudes in DFA (Saskatoon thrash) had their venue fall through for their show on Tues May 3. CAN ANYONE HELP?!?! I don't know the city/venues/house venues really well but I will help in every way if someone can come through. Thanks!

Re: Tattoo Thread
WOW thanks for the lesson guys! At 28 I guess I'm never too old to be reminded that tattoos are permanent. I don't know this city. Anyone who does can likely tell which artists are better at lettering, or drawing from a photograph of your old dead dog, or doing old rockabilly sailor shit. Als...

Re: April 1st Restarts/Rebel Spell/AK 47/Blood Nasty
I'm leaving town the day before this for a couple weeks, too bad. This'll be a great show. I did a couple shows for Blood Nasty in Regina years ago, good to see they're still a band.

Re: Tattoo Thread
Hey dudes, this info may already exist somewhere in this thread, but I'm wondering who's the best/most reasonably priced to do some lettering. I need em to be real steady-hands, 'cause it's Helvetica font. OOF. Let me know!

Propagandhi content
Hey, so the pre-orders for the new split with Sacrifice are up on the War on Music site. Here's an interview I did with Rod for the Kite about it and other things: http://kitemag.net/featured/riff-grazin ... ropagandhi

Re: hoping for a legit discussion
I would also be very curious what jobs she was applying for. Those languages aren't easy ones to learn, we don't get taught them all through grade school like French, and I doubt there's a really large population of white Vancouverites who can fluently speak them. Of all the people I know in that ci...

Re: Regarding Rifflandia
Okay, so being new here, I was reading this board and thinking like "how bad could this festival really be?" Turns out one should always trust the wisdom of hardcore message boards. For $75 I wandered around to a bunch of different venue catching little snippets of shows I didn't care abou...

Re: Regarding Rifflandia
Is this festival mostly local bands? Does it cater to the punk rock or hardcore community? Why was it bad the last two years? It does not, in fact, cater to the punk rock community at all. They have DOA on the bill this year, and the first year Mexican Power Authority played. That's the closest the...

Re: Who wants to start a band?
No jam spot, like I said I just got here. I was at the Promises jam spot last night and they just rent by the hour, seems like a good deal, plus there's gear there. I don't really know what else there is in town. What do you and Mike play?

Who wants to start a band?
Hey, I just moved here and want to get a band together. Nothing too serious or time consuming for now, I don't even have a job yet. Something like Career Suicide/Minor Threat/No Way Records roster, very fast simple hardcore punk. I'd like to just yell but I play bass in Kleins96 and have played guit...
