Re: BOTCH VINYL...$300 DOLLARS ON EBAY
While I agree spending that much on a Botch record is silly, lets not shit on people for spending their hard earned money on records in general. I'm gonna just quote Felix Havoc's post from the VLV board in response to people trying to give him/a seller shit for buying/selling rare hardcore records...

Every band on this bill rules! Except for Out of Sight; I have it on good authority that they are notable fraudsters.

My boss forced a coworker to listen to "Regulate" because he hadn't heard of Nate Dogg. It was awesome.

Re: Sun, Feb 27 Vancouver HARDCORE MATINEE. PROMISES, ETC.
I actually switched out the single coil for a humbucker, a Little '59 in fact. It sounds pretty gnarly when I use my amp properly hahah. I agree with bass and gain. The main problem was that I borrowed a cab, and (being a noob) I switched my Fender Twin to low output while trying to hook it up to pl...

That show was awesome! Thanks for the kind words, everyone! Wasn't big on the tele, but I understand, hahaha. Just out of curiousity, what about the Tele didn't you like? After some technical difficulties, the gain on my Twin was turned down so my tone lacked a certain amount of crunch... is this wh...

Nissan® made them offer they couldn't refuse and I'm pleased to announce that Doom Cannon® has chosen to keep cruisin' (get it?) on, just like I hope all of you will decide to do when you're behind the wheel of your new Nissan® vehicles! I can now officially announce this, at our first show on Febr...

Re: Lucero?
I've been listening to this band for about six years now. Every album gets better and better. Probably best to start with No One's Darlins , that's easily their most accessible. Then check out That Much Further West , their S/T, and The Attic Tapes in that order. You won't be disappointed. you mean...

There was a Run With the Hunted from Edmonton a few years back who were not good, and they apparently tried to sell their merch to the new Run With the Hunted.Rude Boy Puff wrote:Run With the Hunted is an awesome band with a terrible name. I can't wait.
The name is from a Charles Bukowski novel.

Music shouldn't be stagnant, however, nowadays there's a lot of wieners who ldon't know much about hardcore but like certain offshoots of hardcore, which I think is really awkward. To throw a couple bands out there: Uranus and Portraits of Past were hardcore kids. They knew about and respected a cer...
