yeah most rental places will let you place a 'reservation' but that really doesn't guarantee shit. anyone who has rented a moving van before has likely run into a scenario where they reserve something for x:xx o'clock, show up there, and then you just sit around and wait for a few hours, or end up not getting a moving van at all that day.

Tyler, are all your members working/schooling/etc. until Friday?

You'll have no problem getting a backline at Ghost Throats too if you need to come in a car.

You should look into how much extra it costs to rent a van if you're under 25 and if the savings is worth it to have an over 25 person rent the van I'd commandeer Willa to drive you. Willa, you need to join us for a meal at Padmanadi in Edmonton. ;)

...or borrowing Richard's mom's car.

everyone is busy on friday morning. I think three of us work but are getting off in the early afternoon. we can't avoid that though.

I'd love to, the line up for that fest looks sick. But alas, I have $10 to buy a pack of smokes and that's it. I cannot afford to take any time off of work. Shitty? Very shitty.

Also currently listening to /wrists new stuff. Fuck is it good.

Couldn't you borrow/put a couple days insurance on the van your parents are selling?

Don't buy the smokes, call in sick to work and go to Edmonton with $10. This is how adventures are made.

hahahahaha as awesome as that would be, not really an option with my work. Especially cuz I'm expected to be there more than most of the staff (assistant manager and all). Plus, I really need to make money right now, as I'm moving at the end of the month.

Man, that would be fun as hell, though.

we're officially using Slam Dunk's van.

this also means we have room for one more person. does anyone want to join us friday evening (coming back late on monday) and party in edmonton? plus if we split the costs eight ways, that'll be incredible.

HUGE thanks to S.B.B. who almost let us use their van. this city is wonderful.
