Thank You, and Clean up party

Post by dalamar501 »

Hey thanks for everyone for coming out to the winter formal and making it what it is.

This friday it would be great if anyone wanted to come help clean up around the property and house. The landlord wants to come by and check out the place (it has been almost 2 years since he has or maybe it has been more). So looking for anyone that wants to come help out this Friday Dec 9th.
4pm onwards.

Pizza will be supplied!

Anyone with a vehicle that wants to do a bottle run earlier in the afternoon would be awesome as well!

Thanks.

That's my sisters birthday, but if she's not doing anything I will gladly pitch in.

last time he came inside was when the toilet was clogged I think. that was when arynne was living there during the 4th era (1st: you and mikey, 2nd: you and matt hayden, 3rd: you and me, 4th: you me and arynne, 5th: you and me again, 6th: you and paige, 7th: you and reece)

if you manage to make the house like totally clean and normal, he might fix the kitchen sink stuff and not try to call you out on neglecting the upkeep. not sure if you want some pointers, but I'd definitely suggest going over all the mold and mildew in the bathroom and cleaning every surface in there including cupboards, actually washing all the walls and ceiling, fixing everything on the back deck and throwing out the garbage, cleaning the laundry room up to totally clean normal room standards, trimming all the weeds outside and cleaning around back, cleaning up the front (get rid of overgrown grass in the cracks, trim the hedges, make all grass surfaces end with a sharp edge instead of overgrown mounds), tidying up all little clutter areas (above the fridge, etc), and maybe setting a nice living room mood when he walks in with the couch and table and tv all set up. also maybe powder and spray the place down so it smells nice and gets some deep cleaning/odour absorption going on. you probably knew all this, but I think skimping on any of this will probably make him a little annoyed, since the house was definitely in way better shape even just like 10 months ago, and definitely a lot better when mikey's parents were still living there.

sorry if any of this seems to be nagging, I'm just helping you to know some things you might not think about - some of which I did while I was still living there - and it's all in the interest of just making it a nice space for him to be happy with. and if you get it back to acceptable in his eyes, he'll be obligated to do some of the repairs the place is just dying for... maybe the back deck, the kitchen sink, the back fence, etc.

I gotta admit it's been way easier to keep and maintain a loft apartment. the troyler has so many rooms and so many issues. but rules for the low rent cost still.
