I started out with some type of female elf going the classic thief archetype.
Focused early on in the game on archery.
Followed main direction of quests at first.
Bought the house in Whiterun so i would have a place to store shit. and to have a place for lydia to just hangout. It does have an alchemy table i don't know what you are thinking tyler. It doesn't however have an enchanting table. I don't do any of that at the moment however.

After this I started on Dark Brotherhood right away. I get annoyed when I run into the random dragons flying around places as i am a pretty stealth / backstab based character. Finished all of the Dark Brotherhood stuff and that was worth it as I also get the Santuary stuff there as another "Base" that i can store stuff and has way more room than the House. Plus followers i can make follow and unlimited kill tasks. Plus get a free horse that doesn't die. Totally worth it.

Oh forgot to mention willingly became a Vampire. It's fun feeding on people. Sucks if I let myself get to a stage 4 vampire and people attack me but easy enough to sneak in and feed on someone. Plus my Dark Brotherhood bros don't care if i am a stage 4 vampire.

I am level 29 now. Guys are hard to kill in outright combat for me. I have to SNEAK EVERYWHERE and use bows to send them looking in other directions. If i use a dagger it is 30x damage on sneak attacks. Pretty much kill everyone I run into one hit.

I waffled between 2 handed weapons and 1 handed. Now I have 2 points in each! Is there any way to refund points (I assume not)? Kind of annoying, but probably not worth resetting over, right? I think I'm just gonna focus on 2 handed, but man, I'm finding it hard to commit to a weapon type this early too. Skyrim problems.
I play bass. I play guitar. I do both poorly. What's up.

I save a lot of points and only use them as I need them. Right now have 5 points saved as I know what I want to use them on.

I went with (dual) one handed weapons because I made a sneaky type character and figured it was more fitting/more likely that I'd get one handed weapons from anything related to those quests. But one of the coolest weapons I found was an Elven Warhammer that also did 20 points of lightning damage. It was really effective, but I sucked with it because I never used two handed weapons.

So many exploits... Finishing the companions line, I can get any companion to be my follower. And then train me. And then give me the money back. I did it once then decided too boring =\

I've been a werewolf for so long and used the ability... once... When I had the option to get rid of it, I declined, but really, I kill everything just as easy without becoming a werewolf and I get to loot, etc.

Yeah, it gets boring when you've been 1 hit killing everything for 30 hours though...

usually when I'm running around outdoors, except for in combat. It does give you the benefit of not getting dinked from behind.

ive been enjoying my warhammer catman character. smithing is kind of annoying but im only a few levels off the deadric (or whatever) armor. my two handed is almost maxed except the last skill. im toying with enchantments and learning those. paired with high smithing im getting some pretty gnarly warhammers to decapitate fools with.

im around level 34 now and ive been doing lots more quests and making my way more around the map. ive come to like mountain terrain. fuck. annoying to get around.

I'm level 21 now, a wood elf. Finished the Dark brotherhood, almost done the Imperial Army. Sneak at 90, heck yes x30 damage backstabs. I bought the house in Riften. It's called Honeyside, what? It's cool ok.
At this point if I somehow fail to sneak up and 1 hit backstab them, I can bust out my glass sword and hack them apart. I never even use magic. I think I'm going to do the thieves guild next. Then maybe I'll finally continue the main story. Oh, and I have all 3 words of the assassin style shout. Drains their life, stamina, and lowers their armor rating for fights against particularly annoying fights.
I need to level up my pick pocketing, and lock picking, both are around 30 but that doesn't seem to cut it anymore. Need to pick pocket way more often. My demon horse shadowmere died in a freak falling-off-a-cliff accident and now I'm horseless.

I'm getting annoyed with 20 minute horse rides to do something for 10 minutes and then another 20 minute horse ride to turn in etc. starting to get to the point of saying fuck it.

I went by horse to every major town when I was level 5 or so. then when quests would come up, I'd fast travel to the nearest town and horse for a few minutes to the objective. over time, I had more and more places to fast travel to and from.

it doesnt take long to get places if you run (my stamina is high), most little bandit camps and other crap like that ive cleared out are close enough for me to fast travel to and then go from there. hasnt been too annoying (unless its a fucking mountain i have to go AROUND. ugh)

I collected a few items that boost your smithing score, did the iron dagger trick and when my smithing was 100 I used all the items to turn a couple scimitars into killing machines. Base damage of 102, coupled with my items that bonus my single handed score and I'm doling out over 200 damage a swipe. Most things are one hit kills. Dragons are 3-4 hits to kill.

I'm finishing up the thieve's guild, level 30 with 100 sneak, focusing on lock pick (around 70 now) and it makes things hilarious. I rarely have to kill people anymore, I just stroll past them (also pick their pocket because why not?). I need to do smithing I guess to make awesome weapons eventually. I just don't want to have to mine for ore but I guess I'll need to eventually. I'm all about swords and daggers. I have a few cool magic glass swords, right now I think my best weapon is only a flat 23 damage. base damage 102 is crazy sounding. I need to do that.
