The Real Question
The question that really matters: who is playing next year's fest? Propagandhi? Slayer?Madball? I need another line up!

And what bands turned down playing This year? Any entertaining stories about the ones that got away?

Re: The Real Question
Well, I didn't do any organizing as far as the bands go (I'm way better at hands on day to day stuff: getting the venue, hunting down the best deals on posters, organizing the day of, etc.) but I do know that we were talking to the booking agents for Terror and Fucked Up at one point, both of which sniggered at our pitiful offers and then gently turned us down. Note: both those bands are awesome but WAY out of our price range for this year. Next year? Who knows.

You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

Judge are playing. I'm reforming them with no original members.
Re: The Real Question
Go it Alone and Champion are both reuniting for next year.

Re: The Real Question
It's a long way off and much will likely change between now and then, but I'd love to see some of the sweet Edmonton bands on the bill, like Maus, Book of Caverns, Crippled Children or Cope.

Re: The Real Question
Maus are amazing. Would definitely be down to put them on the bill next year.

Re: The Real Question
We also supposedly almost at Comeback Kid this year... i remember back in jan or feb it was supposed to be 70% confirmed.
Grave Maker was at one point on the package with Donnybrook
Comadre did show interest but never came about.
Fucked Up didn't work out from their booking agent. Damian said to deal with him next year.
Terror was no go. but then we almost got them for a different date but then the agent pulled that show.
