pretty sure none of their songs ever actually charted beyond college radio station.
Songs would have gotten played on various mtv shows (even the YoT one would have) due to a bunch of bands at the time from the same scene getting signed to majors but yeah.. don't see them getting a ton of money from that.

lots of members from shelter played in various other bands associated with krishna in ways.
(see my post in the "most hated genres" thread where i defend krishnacore)

108 is by far the best krishna band i will admit.
shelter comes in 2nd for me.

Willa, are tou fucking drunk. the yot of today video is everything that makes hardcore great. its diy as fuck, discusses politics, has raging live show vibes. and as icing on the cake its got some crucial youth crew imagery, porcell being bummed on a dudes burger and some sweet old hardcore shirts! do you seriously beef with this video?

on the other hand shelters videos are fucking absurd. dont get me wrong, anyone who knows me knows i love shelter but lets be totally real the videos are all full budget 90's pop videos except for the 2 home made ones which feature shelter rocking out in a van lined with tinfoil(wut?) and shelter beating people up for "unkind parking habits". SHELTER NEVER MADE A GOOD MUSIC VIDEO.
We need to be totally real when discussing shelter and remember what that band is. A musical front to promote the kirishna movement. ray quit youth of today to dedicate his life to the bhagavat and only through learning more about it he realized that being in a band was acceptable if his purpose with said band was to promote krishna values so thats what he did. similar thing is how vic started 108.
