I was more surprised he was still alive, to be honest. Hard livin' at three hundred pounds with a crippling heroin addiction.

Man Anal Cunt played Seattle in april and now I regret not having gone. RIP to a total fuck up of an individual and one of the best grind vocalists ever.

Did this guy ever do anything shitty other than have offensive song titles? All I've heard is that he likes his drugs, and even after his coma and becoming a cripple, whenever he would play shows he would park himself in front of the stage in a chair with a 6-pack and watch all the bands that opened for Anal Cunt. Also whenever bands he made fun of called him out he would inevitably show up to one of their shows and fight them .. I mean, get beat up by them.

Seth was an influence on my vocals and tastes, and anyone who likes grind-core and shit talks this band needs a history lesson. Its like someone who says they like metal but "fuck Black Sabbath." Its fine, you don't like it, but shit talking it makes you look like a pre-teen wagon-jumper.

When I'm not fighting racism, sexism, and homophobia I'm hosting a candle light vigil for Seth Putham. The only reason shit grind is what it is. Pretty sure if the book you read wasn't written by Napalm Death you read the wrong one.

And for the record I hated them since 2000 when I found out Hatebreed beat them up, this was long before the hating AC bandwagon rolled through. Im OG

well lets put it this way, You're the vocalist in a controversial grind band, you love what you do, but you also love doing hard drugs, you're playing a show out of town, you are most likely high, the audience is very drunk and very vocal, minutes into your set an intoxicated lady tries to gab your microphone.

Im not saying what he did was justified, but I am saying that it seems pretty understandable.
