also I think after last year, it should maybe go back to being one day.

Simplify it. One Day. 2 or 3 bands from Vancouver (Vacant State, Damages, Out Of Sight) lots of cross over appeal. 2 or 3 bands from Seattle/Tacoma (Power, Ill Intent, Noise) If there aren't 2 local hardcore bands no need to throw on every shitty nofx cover band. Dig for a headliner but don't go looking for madball. Trial, Shook Ones, Grave Maker all live within a couple hours drive start there and I'm forgetting a bunch of good bands around. Built a decent show with what's around. Is anyone even down to do a fest this year?

and a few locals from around the nwhc.

realistic expectations!
but i think you guys all know this by now.

While I'm not going to say a Champion reunion will never happen I can say with certainty it will never happen in Victoria.

It's pretty insulting to charge 8 bucks for only a couple bands I wanna see. Where is the sliding scale. Zack is corporate.

Anytime a band you like plays Scion Fest it's because of me.

Is this because of your brilliant marketing ideas?

People into metal and hardcore love buying cars. Great untapped market.

i think we should all just start buying fancy cars and tricking them out with crazy exhaust filters or other things. then we can drive around in packs and act like we own the city

I just tell them which bands would inspire me to buy a car and then they give me a fat cheque. They have guys with tribal tattoos and Tapout tshirts who do all the marketing.
