Soundtrack was dope and come on when else does Michael Cera have a chance to play the role of George Michael?

In no particular order or reason:
Noi
High Fidelity
The Lives Of Others
Man On Wire
Let The Right One In
Primer
Stevie
Hedwig and The Angry Inch
The Dark Knight
Dear Zachary
Maybe a few too many downer flicks in there, but there it is. I didn't include any Almodovar in there, but he'll always be my guy. Also, I think I could've easily placed Science Of Sleep, Where The Wild Things Are, and Being John Malkovich on this list. So many movies that meant so much to me this decade.

I am in love with kristen stewart. you think she's unlikeable because you CRAZY. but yeah, I agree about disagreeing about juno and adventureland, though I liked adventureland.
so many I keep thinking of adding but they came out in 98 or 99...dammit. (pi, the matrix, lost in translation, virgin suicides, rushmore)
here's a list of movies in the 2000s that I came up with that I liked a LOT. I can't really rank them that well but closer to the top means I thought of them quicker which has to mean something. I am also aware that I may have forgotten some and that some of my picks make my taste seem unreliable when compared to other picks.
lost in translation
trapped in the closet
donnie darko
spirited away
into the wild
the go-getter
elephant
the squid and the whale
high fidelity
the science of sleep
mulholland drive
wall-e
almost famous
edit: forgot life aquatic!
edit: shit, also dude where's my car!

Every role he's ever played? He plays the role exquisitely though.

If Juno isn't on yourlist for top 10 of the decade it isn't a good list. It was a comedy that wasn't all like "bro lets get laid and drink or something dude" and the soundtrack was rad and Ellen Page is awesome. But as for Adventureland that was a personal choice as I personally just really connected with the film.

meh i liked juno and all. it was cool to see it become pretty well known and not be the typical laid and drink or something dude stuff. Put top 10 of the decade. or well saying it isn't a good list without it... i don't know
I felt ellen page was better in Mouth to Mouth and Tracey Fragements for films in the last decade. Maybe even Hard Candy (but i haven't seen it)
Okay going to make a list of ten movies.
this will be hard.
Dear Wendy
Squid and the Whale.
Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Lost In Translation
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring
Punch Drunk Love
let the right one in
there will be blood
me you and everyone we know
Wendy and Lucy
Ones i enjoyed yet couldn't make the cut. Most of them could be interchangeable with the ones above
high fidelity
science of sleep
elephant
donnie darko
tokyo sonata
tracey fragments
primer
dogville & manderlay
match point
waking life
i <3 huckabees
The Royal Tenenbaums

Juno was too indie cutesy to be top of any list.

recipe for a cutesy indie hit:
-pay someone lots of money to make a hand drawn title
-michael cera or someone equivalent (like the dude from the office)
-soundtrack full of "classic" "underground" bands or "indie" bands that happen to be on or distributed by major labels
-attempts to seem like the budget isn't in the millions even though it is
-linear storyline akin to a drawn out sitcom
-references to some forgotten aspect of 80's or 90's pop culture
-"awkwardness"
and thanks troy, I forgot about rules of attraction, that bumps out a shitload of my picks. you know I love that movie.

Huge fan of Punch Drunk Love. I'd probably bump out Stevie to put it in mine, now that I'm thinking of it. PT Anderson will always have my heart. Wrapped up in a plotline of deception and morality. ilu pt.
