Well, I've got some part time shifts doing landscaping work coming up, and I'm still at ye-old video store for the summer...I can talk to the dude that hired me, see if he needs other hands for the six weeks I'm on. Could be good stuff.

ive discussed starting a wizard themed company with people and we'd use like smoke machines and shit while we worked and would wear robes and shit... this was all inspired by andy crimsons short lived "wizard stick" that he used until it broke
RIP wizard stick

i like pizza zone due to over-consumption and close proximity, but this one will have poutine and calzones. I will eat that a lot.

I've been on EI and recently applied to a few publishers and random places looking for some combination of work in design/marketing/communications. got a call from one place today. here's hoping the wage is above my old multimedia design job. was kind of hoping not to get hired soon but if the money is right, I'll go for it.
also if you register for the uvic careers section, you can just upload your resume and automatically apply to every job that comes up. a lot of them have pretty ridiculous qualification requirements though.
I had to go to an EI meeting and hand in a list of all my "job search contacts" today. it sucked.

I've been on EI for 4 months now and I've never had to go to a meeting. What's that about? How long have you been on it for?

for two months. it's done by random selection. there's only one, fortunately. but you lose your benefits if you get a letter and don't go to the meeting.
