Arson Anthem (Phil Anselmo, Hank III, Mike Williams)
Burning Love
Not Sorry (slept on this band. Holy shit, so good. Thanks Hunter)
Promises (VIHC WHAT)
Victims Choice
Tongue Tied
Dead Meat
Persistance of Time
Putrid Brew
Ghostlimb
Jawbreaker (ALWAYS MOTHERFUCKER)
For older stuff, I'm really digging the new stuff Integrity is putting out, Ringworm continue to slay, and DOA's new album is actually pretty good (I'll be doing a review of it soon).

I'll stop considering them current the day they stop being relevant.
Also, jamming that new Not Sorry. Holy fuck that title track is heavy.
ALSO, Black Breath. Heavy Breathing is basically an album composed entirely of breakdowns. So into it.

Yes? I guess? I dunno, but their song Moving On sounded pretty fucking heavy to me when I listened to it this afternoon. I was stoned, though, so stuff tends to sound heavier to me around that time.
Either way, this shit is good.

I can dig the sound (sometimes), I just tend to get sketchy when it comes to the politics of it. Not all of youth crew, mind you, but a good portion tends to have a "the way I live my life is right for everyone" vibe that I can't really get into. It's the same kind of problem I have with anarcho-crust, although I tend to have a slightly higher tolerance for it because A: I like the music more, and B: I'm somewhat more aligned with the politics. Definitely doesn't make it okay, though, and I've straight up avoided bands because they were espousing Evasion type politics.
BUT BACK ON TOPIC:
I've found two youth crew bands I like, in one week. One more and Cthulhu will rise from the depths of ever-sleeping R'lyeh and bring ruin and damnation upon mankind.
LETS DO THIS.
