It is pretty amazing

Integrity is a good start

Skitsystem are amazing

I think Tragedy fall into this, hmmmm

Wolfbrigade, Disfear and oldschool originators would be acts like the varukers, driller killer, id even say Motorhead and the like as well.

I don't know anything about d-beat but Integrity? really?

Also, a d-beat thread where discharge isn't mentioned...

Discharge is the ultimate d-Beat. I've been saying that Unlearn are just Discharge with balls, so you'll probably like them.

Integrity really borrows more from Japanese bands like Gism than D-Beat, although I would not be surprised to see Never Again or Why? in Dwid's record collection.

Tragedy is an excellent band. Not EXACTLY d-beat, though. Damn close. His Hero Is Gone, basically the same thing. Super d-beat influenced, but did it their way. Definitely worth checking out.

Check out Discharge, Disclose, Wolfbrigade, Anti-Schism, and Skit System. Stormcrow is more on the Crust side of things, but I've heard a d-beat creep into there. Disfear is great. Basically, if a band is named Diswhatever, then good chances that they're a d-beat band.

I wouldnt call integrity a d beat band. I like some d beat but there is alot of shitty D beat out there, i dont spend much time sifting through all the shit bands to hear a couple good ones. just listen to tragedy and martyrdod

if you like Unlearn:
Discharge (duh)
Doom
Shitlickers
Anti-Cimex
Disclose (there's a trend in this genre of bands starting their name with 'dis', heheheh)
Bastard
Totalitar
Gai
Confuse
Aghast
Gauze
Masskontroll
Framtid
Antiproduct
warning: some of these bands have ultra-raw recordings
there are way too many d-beat bands in existence, but that's okay.

There was some metal band me and Scott were listening to at Black Raven once that had a song about how much they like the abundance of Dis bands. I wanna say it was Behemoth, but I can't remember.

there are two disfear eras. earlier disfear was more raw punk d-beat and later they got the singer of at the gates and switched up to a more motorhead/rock and roll style with good production values

old:

I didn't know that. THANK YOU KEVIN. I had assumed that At the Gates dude had been there since day one.

Also, Jakob next time you come over to the island I'll open up Black Raven and we'll paw through there and get some good dbeat for ya. Chads list is pretty killer (although i personally am more partial to Scandinavian Jawbreaker by Anti-Cimex).

Chad, come to the island and listen to Asunder with me.

Matrydöd is the best band of the genre imo. I'm not into the raw stuff at all, but I've been into Disfear, Tragedy, Skitsystem, Victims, and Wolfbrigade for a long time.

I am actually jamming in a d-beat band right now, it's going to be pretty sweet.
