I'm 29 and I still think Amebix is cool. Are they as good a band as Jawbreaker? Hell no. But just as, if not more, influential than them. So many bands that I love now trace their roots back to Amebix. Pretty important band, and simply dismissing them is pretty ridiculous.

And Reece, the first 45 seconds of "Drone" kinda sorta maybe sound like Amebix if I'm thinking about it really hard and squinting my eyes and I'm stoned. Maybe.
