There are a lot of bands out there that sing about veganism and animal rights. I'm not sure how many of them I would classify as "good". Chad can (and probably will) answer this a lot better than I can. All I can ever come up with off the top of my head are the obvious ones: Earthcrisis, Brothers Keeper (pretty terrible), Youth of Today, Dropdead (definitely in the "awesome" category), Vegan Reich, Seven Generations, Gather, Remembering Never (AWFUL), etc. I dunno. I'm betting there are a shitload of anarcho bands that are heavily animal rights, just don't know who they are.
EDIT: INDECISION. Jesus, how could I forget about that band? So good.

xchadx wrote:Brother's Keeper are so bad, holy fuck. Hard chuckle over that bands vocals. The vinyl of the Disembodied split is pressed really stupidly..and so there's one Brother's Keeper song on the end of the Disembodied side (because their songs were too long for their side or something). So...WHENEVER I go to jam the Disembodied side (as I love that band), I always forget, walk out of my room, and then just hear that guys ear piercing, terrible vocals. Pure comedy.
Vegan Reich suck, but their lyrics make for a mean laugh.
Indecision are incredible.
I will devise my list later when I'm not at work, prepare yourself.
My first show ever was a fest where Brothers Keeper were one of the headliners. If I hadn't also got to see Suicide Machines, Boysetsfire, Dillinger Escape Plan (pre-sucking) and a host of other incredible hardcore bands, I probably would like hardcore now. Worst band. During their set, though, this INCREDIBLY HOT girl with three giant X's tattooed on her back kept jumping up and singing along, while wearing a very tight spaghetti strap tank top...
...now that I think about it, that might have been what got me into hardcore...
