Thanks Willa. Didn't realize SPB had reviewed it. Nice they compared Damages to Embrace just 'cause I'm on a real Embrace kick lately, but I'm not so sure about the comment about the uncanny resemblance to Ian MacKaye that Carl's vocals have.
Here's other reviews of the 7" if anyone's interested.

When they reviewed the Black Cloud demo, they spent a good paragraph on the cover art.
I sometimes don't understand this website.

that is because the black cloud demo was not one of the 200 or less reviews. which the damages release was.
you guys had a "main review" or whatever so they needed to talk about something for a whole paragraph

Good point. Allow me to rephrase:
When they reviewed the Black Cloud demo, they actually reviewed it.
I sometimes don't understand this website.

I appreciate that they took the time to review it, but I wouldn't say it's the most accurate review we've ever had. In the ballpark but not quite across the plate.
But given Damages is mining a sound most people aren't interested in these days I'm pleased with whatever we get.

I'd be amped to play with Unrestrained, but Hieg and I are actually going out of town then too. Carl's coming with us. We could send Motor down to play a 20 minute drum solo if you like.
