Dear people who do shows in Victoria

My friends from Edmonton, Book of Caverns, are trying to get a show in Victoria on August 13th. Tyler's tried to get something for them but had no luck.

Can anyone help them with this date? Willa, Kay, Alexis...? Talk's Cheap?

If it sweetens the deal we might be able to have Mouse Ear come over too.

the Ministry is a no-go after a lot of nagging. and the woolworm show is happening at sugar that night.

a house bbq/matinee would be especially awesome but not at the troyler since troy will be away that weekend. I guess the red door can't do shows anymore and carpet land only works when kay can convince her roommates. it's too bad, this band rules.

It's a bummer for you guys as well because you'll miss this rad band but also if it gets tough to book shows in Vic it becomes one more obstacle to bringing bands to your city. BC Ferries already does a good enough job discouraging bands to come to Vic, they don't need any more help.

Yes, they're playing on the 12th at GM place with Mouse Ear, Tempest and Titan.

If VI is a bust for the 13th do you guys wanna do a show for them in Langley?

I might be able to do a matinee/BBQ at my place that day, but I'm definitely gonna be broin' down with Woolworm that night, so I'd want it to be over by 9/930 at the latest. I'll have to talk to the roommates. Book of Caverns is fucking amazing, though, so I would like to see them come out here. I'll get back to you tonight.

let me know how this works ASAP cause there is a band in Langley doing their EP release around the middle of AUG. No date is set yet, but if we need to we might be able to convince em to do it on the 13th.

Talk's Cheap has a policy of only helping bands Tieman likes. You could approach him and see what he thinks though!
