supposedly THORNS (anyone who hasn't checked out the self-titled album...bwaaa?!) is coming out with something new...that could go either way because it's been a looooooong time, and is black metal the same as it used to be?!?!?
BON IVER will deliver an album of make-out jams
finally, MORBID ANGEL will release something. I am skeptical because Heretic was bad. Really just ugh.

edit: oh and a little black metal band called INQUISITION new album...will be hatred.

man at one point in my life i was one of those kids who kept track of every single metal album due to come out at the start of a new year, now i honestly could not list off one new release i'm anticipating off the top of my head. agreed with reece that the new burzum is kinda week, but realistically how long has it actually been since any of the original/classic black metal bands have done anything better than "pretty good" at absolute most?
