I know that all too well, usually half my rolls are just black shots cause I forgot the flash or the battery was dead

I'd much rather see 5 interesting or energetic shots than 30 of the same boring pose I wish more people would cut Down On what they upload in the end

i have much more respect for someone who shoots a roll of film and has 8 good pictures then someone who takes 400 pictures with a dsl and fills a flickr account with 30 pictures, 20 of which are pile ons

We can't all be Future Breed. It takes a while to build up a decent portfolio. The interesting thing is that I'm not seeing the death of photography that everyone said digital cameras would be. Instead, people are just getting super picky, and so now to get noticed your shit has to be really good.

things have definitely slowed down i think for photos at shows, there used to be tons of cameras out

i even barely shoot anymore but i just like film and its slower/you gotta be more patient

i love taking pictures at shows. i used to fill my one gb memory card then upload everything but gradually i got more picky with the ones i actually posted and just started taking more pride in my photos. i think digital images and film give the photo a different feel. personally i love the grit and the old-school effect you get from using film, but i like the color and exposure controls digital offers so i just edit my film with a photoeditor after its developed
