Lotus Pond, Ferris', The Reef, The Joint, Red Fish/Blue Fish in the summer,Green Cuisine has wicked baked goods, shitty food, and Pink Sugar makes Vegan cupcakes I would literally kill someone for.

Late night? Alzus Alzus Alzus.

You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

Blue Fox Cafe is excellent for breakfast. Kitty's Cafe is a great greasy spoon, and they always used to accomodate my friends weird or restrictive dietary habits. Sabri's Buffet is fan-fucking-tastic and usually has 6 vegetarian dishes, not to mention naan, pakora, kebob, etc. I am heavily addicted to the closely related Naanwich ("potato pea naanwich, make it hot") and their lentil soup is delicious. East Garden is my favourite chinese place to order from. Village's pizza soy cheese pizza trumps every other soy cheese pizza I've ever had, including the Joint which is over-priced and over-rated in my opinion (no beef with my friends that work there.) +1 for the Reef! Ferris' used to be way better, and used to use soy cheese (don't know if they still do). Oh maaaaaaaan the Carribean Cafe on quadra near hillside is triple-A indoor.

My favourite place to eat at night? My place, my partner and I fucking rip it up in the kitchen!

Late night, yes. Vegan, no. Wendy's used to have an ok selection of veggie choices until PETA got on them and then they took 99% of the veggie options off their menu.

I saw this thread about food and got excited, but then I read it and realized I have nothing to contribute.
...I like my meat.

hernandez burritors are basically the biggest thing i miss about victoria, 2nd being all ages hardcore shows.
ferris' has a really good nut buger, and if you want to try a bunch of different stuff i like the vegan buffet at green cuisine most times, if not just for the brown rice sushi and foccacia bread. also blue fox even though someone has already said almost all of these. 2nd'd!

I missed the part about this being for veggie/vegan places. I eat tons of meat. I guess the best vegan spot is Lotus Pond. And it's cheap. It pretty much rules. Somebody should go there with me next week after I get paid.

I agree with Troy on the Mint being awesome too.

I'm pretty sure both have food that can be made vegan if it isn't already. I've only drank at both places though, so don't quote me.
