sushi plus is super cheap and awesome, like a japanese greasy spoon! hernandez, italian imports, devour, little thai place, kuku's- tons of delicious vegetarian dishes, and fernwood inn & fifth st grill have some of the only decent pub food i've had in victoria. i eat out too much.

Sounds like a plan. I gotta still get my shifts switched around for this Saturday so I can go to the show.

Also, I back the Blue Fox, Shine is a great breakfast place as well, Fifth St. is good, but the only really vegan thing they have is their pizza. Fern wood Inn is alright, although their Hummous fucking rocks. I dunno....lots of good eats in this city.

the only thing ive eaten at alzus is ketchup, and it was LOVELY.
and then i asked for a beer and the waiter tried to talk me into getting a smoothie instead.

One time I had the cutest waitress ever at alzu's and she was all "Oh, I just moved here from Toronto" etc. and I was all in a committed relationship, then I never saw her again. Good story, eh?

the only time ive been to alzus i ordered spinach dip and they didnt even have chips to accompany it. OR naan/pita bread. wtf.
