I'm really not down with how many people i know involved in punk rock and hardcore are doing blow and diamond imagery in hardcore both rub me the wrong way, as far as I'm concerned both of them represent exploitation of third world people and sensationalize a lifestyle that we as punks and hardcore kids should be "out of step" with. thats just what I think though. also lots of bands that I feel have no roots in hardcore or any true meaningful connection to it using "core" as a suffix at the end of their genre name.
