Web Comics

Post by Tambro »

Looking for a couple good web comics to get into since I'm always trolling around the internet with nowhere to go. Give me some suggestions (The only one I've kept up to date on is ctrl+alt+del)
I play bass. I play guitar. I do both poorly. What's up.

I agree with Troy about QC.

Hey, didn't we have a thread about this a while ago?

Rice Boy was excellent, and worth reading through the archives. It ends really well.

QT is excellent, been reading that for ages.

I like Something Positive http://www.somethingpositive.net

Also Sam and Fuzzy, written by a dude here in Vic samandfuzzy.com

Sluggy Freelance is the grandaddy of comics. It's been going for near thirteen years now. HUGE archive, might not be worth it to get into. I've been following it for years. I'm not even sure if I still enjoy the comic, or am just so used to reading it that I do it out of rote behavior. http://www.sluggy.com

Gunnerkrigg Court is gorgeously drawn, well written, and adorable http://www.gunnerkrigg.com

The Abominable Charles Christopher is also incredibly well drawn, but only updates once a week. Still, dude can draw animals like no other. http://www.abominable.cc

Finally, Dr. McNinja. This one is...well it's weird. And hilarious. But man...weird. http://drmcninja.com/

You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

It's all done now, but you can still read the entire series of MACHALL. It's one about dorm life, love, and videogames.

XYZ is pretty good, but can sometimes be a little out there.

One that I love a lot is VGCATS.

you can also read MARVEL COMICS for FREE on the web.

Nah, I discovered it kinda by accident. I sometimes just wander around, looking for new webcomics. I can't afford to collect comics anymore, so this is how I get my fix.

DARCY I HAD NO CLUE YOU COULD READ MARVEL ON THE WEB OH DEAR LORD THERE GOES MY NIGHT.

On some of the first forums I ever went to we would have MS PAINT THREADS. One panel at a time, everyone takes turns drawing the next panel in a story.
