Hey everyone, I know this is the VI board but I figured this might be worth peeps from Van and Vic knowing:

Nyala restaurant on Main st. in Vancouver has started an all you can eat vegan buffet of African food every Wednesday from 5-9. The food is GOOD, similar to Indian food, but with their own spicing and flavor.

We're gonna get some people together to go next week if anyone is down (and if you Vic people come visiting now you know another option for food).

Sounds so good! Aside from the Ethiopian place in Cook Street Village, I'm not sure there are any other African places in Vic.

It's very simple, I give Tyler a check for $200. He cashes the check, uses the money to pay for both our buffet meals and gives me back the difference...

There's a Moroccan place right down the road from my house, it's always empty though...
